The captivating Hotel Allegro Chicago was designed by award winning designer, Cheryl Rowley. This historic hotel was built in the 1920's with an art deco interior design, and Ms. Rowley transformed the hotel into a 90's version of what's hip and lively today. The Allegro stimulates the senses with a vibrant range of colors, rich textured fabrics, bold patterns, and a contrasting blend of classic and contemporary designs.
With the celebrity red-carpet treatment from the headset-wearing doormen to the chic ''Living Room'' lobby, the Allegro inspires guests to Be A Star. The ''Living Room'' plush velvet and velour furniture set the stage for the Hosted Evening Wine Reception and the morning's coffee bar, which serves Italian roast coffee, espresso and delicious baked goodies. Other amenities include valet laundry, complimentary overnight shoeshine, 24-hour business and fitness center, room service, valet parking, and a full-service concierge. The pet-friendly hotel welcomes pets with a treat plus food and water dishes to use during their stay. Walking services are also available.
Oversized, upholstered headboards accent art-deco furnishings and designer fabrics of the 483 guest rooms. Guests can indulge with in-room spa services provided by Relax and Rejuvinate. Plush robes and Aveda bath products are standard amenities, along with a complimentary yoga accessory basket, A/C, coffee/tea maker, Sony CD stereo, 2-line phone with voicemail, evening turndown (upon request), hairdryer, hair salon, minibar, morning paper, complimentary DSL Wi-Fi Internet and cable TV. The Hotel Allegro also features Kimpton's Forgot It, We've Got It program, where toiletry items that you may have left at home are complimentary provided for a carefree vacation.
Down and hypo-allergenic pillows are also available.
Popular with Chicagoans and guests, 312 Chicago offers Old World Italian dining touched with a contemporary flair. 312 Chicago's inviting dining room with rich wood paneling complements a business meal, dinner before a show or just a relaxing evening out.
