Do not stay at this hotel. We were treated as though we were stupid and lied to throughout...The hotel advertised free pick up from the airport with a 3-night stay- but then were asked to pay at reception. Before being shown our room the manager pushed a whole pile of information under our noses in order to sell trips. Eventually we saw the room, we booked a superior deluxe with bathtub, flowers, and other complementary things -We got a basic double.

the hotel was located in a very good place and from here we could accessed all other parts of Hanoi easily by walking.
The hotel itself was also nice with spacious room and very clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. Dont mind comming back this hotel next time.

Don't stay here! It might be the cheapest hostel on hostelworld but in my opionion it's worth paying that little bit extra and staying somewhere better than this hole. The place was dirty/filthy. I saw two rats in the living room area. The toilet/shower cubicle is in the main common living room - not nice. The staff have no information about the city. The internet was constantly being used by the owner's children who were playing video games on all of the computers.

The hotel is quiet - and very comfortable. The location is great - just 50m from the noisy streets of Hanoi, but quiet and a clam place to rest for a while. High recommend!

Do note that it's too close to walk to the city center so no need to catch a cab, if need should ask the price in advance. The hotel is in the middle of Hanoi old quarter which makes it a convenient location. Thanks to Asia House for a great stay! I especially liked the free coffee all day. Good hotel

Twice in the same day I found my room occupied by strangers. It was a private room, but the key was mistakenly given to other people who were just arriving. The staff did not seem to think that was a big deal. I also booked a different type of bed, just to find out that information available in the webpage is different from the choices offered on site.

It's a really lovely hostel but very very badly let down by the toilets and showers. The toilets are tiny - have a sanitary waste disposal thing but no rubbish bin - nothing to dry hands on so people are taking loo paper to do so which works because of the type they have there,, but no where to throw it so it goes into he sanitary thing

We would like to recommend the hotel to anyone traveling to Vietnam for the first time as there pick up service from the airport, makes getting to the hotel a breeze. Hanoi Pacific hotel was great as a home base for our vietnam travels. The location was perfect as it was surrounded by good food/shopping and happy local people. The staff were a big help and organised anything we asked including hotels in other cities. They provided us with a hot shower and room in between our travels throughout vietnam. Excellent, friendly and helpful staff are the mauinstay of this hotel. The main reason I keep coming back since 2004. I have had cheaper, quieter,cleaner even but it is the people like Hanh(Hana), Vi, Diep, Hanh Coi, Nga, Loan and others whose names, smiling faces, escape me at the moment. What a crew.

Our room was quite good for the price, but what really stands out here is the staff. Booking our trips from the pacific star hotel was a breeze. They are very attentive to all the details, and we felt like we could trust them. Great experience!

excellent hotel situe a proximite des differents centres d'interets et disposant de tres bons equipements ; accueil dynamique de qualite... mais dommage qu'il soit situe comme la plupart des autres hotels dans un centre ville bruyant et pollue (des chambres legerements plus spacieuses seraient bienvenues) bon hotel dans cette categorie de prix ; je le recommande aux voyageurs et y reviendrai !

Fine memory with Hanoi Pacific hotel.
Stay in pacific hotel is pleasant one. Comfortable room, helpful staff , reasonable price and good breakfast at buffe, it is recomendable hotel.
With helpful and friendly guide, my trip to Halon bay was really impressive one.
Calm and beautiful senary is a good escape from exciting but noisy Hanoi.
Try and have a fun.

This trip was the first time for me to come to Hanoi. I really does not know how they going, does not know is a good placec or not., but when I first stepped in to the Pacific Hotel. I could get to know Hanoi is a good place, because the staff is very Kind, good, really friendly. I feel like home, may be better than my own home. If I have a chance to come back to Hanoi in the future. I will come back to this hotel.

Hanoi Pacific hotel was great as a home base for our vietnam travels. The location was perfect as it was surrounded by good food/shopping and happy local people. The staff were a big help and organised anything we asked including hotels in other cities. They provided us with a hot shower and room in between our travels throughout vietnam. They always gave us a good deal and a freindly atmosphere. We highly recommend the PACIFIC HOTEL !

Speaking of tour, the Pacific Hotel even custom-tailored designed one person tour for me to Sapa on last minute notice. I only had a day to spend in Sapa, so Mr. Vi Nguyen made a couple of calls and was able to book send me overnight via train and I was in Sapa the next morning (tickets, meals, transportation, English speaking guide, etc.).

David the person who runs the place is very pushy and wants you to book trips with him every 5 minutes. You can't walk into the hostel without being hounded to sit down and go through trips and booking flights, we found it very intimidating.

We gave in one day and brought train tickets from him and subsequently found out he'd ripped us off by ?20.The rooms bare no resemblance to what is advertised, they are very cramped and the walls are covered in mud. The shower is hand held so you end up swimming in the bathroom and get all your towels and toilet roll soaked. We had to ask for clean towels, well you couldnt really call them towels more like dishcloths- they were tiny.

The room was very beautiful and the staff very helpful.
we only stayed one night because we went to sapa and the to halong bay and they arrenged everything to make our trips easier and helped in everything.
we also booked the halong bay 3 days 2 nights we them and was very cheap and well organized.The location is perfect... you wake there and you are where everything happens.
good choice.

All the staff are really very friendly and helpful. As we arrived at Hanoi airport quite late at night the airport pickup was very convenient. The tour to Ha Long Bay and Perfume Pagoda that they arranged for us were fantastic. We really enjoyed our stay here. It is indeed worth for your money!

This hotel uses multiple names and inflates its ratings. Recent names include Hanoi Classic Street Hotel, Hanoi Street Hotel, Street Hotel, and Stars Street. It uses either the Cam Chi or Hong Bong street address to appear as different hotels. It is in fact the 2 star Hanoi Street Hotel on Cam Chi street which comes out at approximately 200 Hong Bong. Most of the rooms have been refurbished. They are good with emails but it is an overpriced 2 star hotel
